My home laptop, which was running Windows 7 Home Premium, had some hard disk problems. I resolved these but I had to do a clean install of Windows.
I used a setup disk I had from work, but this was for Windows 7 Enterprise. Now I'm stuck because I can't activate Windows. I have the licence key for the original Windows installation but this won't work with the upgraded install. The online activation
wizard can't connect me to a store to buy a new licence key, which I don't really want to do anyway.
What I want to do is either downgrade back to Home Premium somehow or maybe buy an upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate (if this would allow me to activate Windows 7 Enterprise).
