Hi All,
Kindly suggest me to resolve the issue.
I have a AD environment (Bill.local) in Windows server 2008 R2. There are 5 servers (DC01, DC02, DC03, DC04 and DC05) running in same OS. There are 4 sites in my AD. each site has 1 DC and only one site has 2 DCs (DC01 and DC02) which is critical Site. I have configured DNS on DC01. There is a AD integrated DNS running on my env. I want to upgrade my functional level to Windows 2012 server also want to configure same DNS server IP to my new Windows 2012 DC which is already configured in my previous DNS DC if i add additional domain controllers. Because i have configured DNS IP configured statically on all other application servers.
Question 1: I want to add additional domain controller with the same IP which is configured on my DNS server.
Question 2: Is there any other way to upgrade Windows 2012 server with same IP (In-place is not required)
