Server 2003 and Server 2008 r2 Active Directory

This is not a migration question. My question is if i have Server 2003 (non-r2) and want to bring a 2008 r2 server onto my network. They only thing i should have to do is the domain and forest prep, correct?

Are there any known issues for having a 2003 and 2008 r2 playing together?
