New Recovery partition

Since the latest update, I have a new partition on my hard drive. I understand this to be a Recovery drive. I keep receiving the "Low Disk Space" warning for this 'drive' as it seems to be approx 98% full. How can I turn this message off without resorting a third party application or registry hack? Thank you.
