I have been experiencing an issue that seems to be reported in many forums and help portals but all suggested fixes do not seem to work. Therefore I wish to ask the experts here if you know or have experienced what I describe below and if you know also of a fix:
I run a domain with 4 remote desktop servers, for all the users its necessary to have a mapped drive for their daily work. I have mapped the drive using GPO and ensured the reconnect option is checked. But still when the user logs in the mapped drive shows as disconnected that the software they use then fails. Of course the user can simply click on the mapped drive and it connects but as we all know this isnt the point.
Any ideas?
