Hi,
I am trying to troubleshoot a Windows 2016 server that is locking up after nonpaged pool memory uses up all available memory. Using poolmon I found that the "Efsm" tag is the culprit and keeps growing. Looking up the Efsm tag it correlates to the EFS driver. Looking through forums I cannot find anyone having any similar issues. In this particular instance a folder is being encrypted to protect running proprietary code. I'm looking for any ideas what would cause the EFS driver to not release the nonpaged pool memory, or how I could narrow it down further.
