BITS service and Kaspersky Endpoint Security - Virus Scan stuck a 1%

Hi all,

i'm running Kaspersky Endpoint Security (10.3.0.6294) in Windows 10 1703.

I have a couple of workstation where the Kaspersky scheduled virus scan stuck a 1% scanning system memory. If i exclude in the scope this componet the scan starts and ends correctly.


I've open a ticket to Kaspersky, after a month and a lot of analysis they reported that the problem is caused by the Micorsft BITS service that doesn't respond to some call made by the Kaspersky application, and they asked to me (verty curious support) to contact Microsoft about this issue.


I have a memory dump file they (Kapsersky) asked to share with you where problay there are the evidence of this problem; can anyone contact me in PM so i can share this file to make the appropriate analysis also by Microsoft side?
