Hi,
We are facing an issue here regarding the logon process on a Windows 2012r2.
When logging with non domain account it works fine.
When logging by RDP with domain account it's taking a while and operation is stucked on this step "Please wait for the Local Session Manager" and then nothing happens !
After some searches, we managed to take control with remote powershell and check some features and configurations.
Finally this solved our issue :
-DNS related issue : We just changed the DNS server by another one and then we could be able to get logged esaily.
We are seeking deeply to raise out the root cause of this problem, it seems to be DNS response issue, and during the logon process the system cannot locate a GC (srv records related to DNS service ? ) and then the system refuses to get logged on.
So you may check this if you are experiencing same issue.
Regards
