I recently performed the April update on my main computer, which didn't start right and destroyed the partition on my HD. I reconsititued from an older image backup (with Homegroup) which was working properly, and this time the April update went through.
The problem is that with Homegroup gone, my laptops only see my Main computer as a media device, but I can't share files (since I can't see the computer). All permissions are turned on (everything is set to "shared" on the Main computer), and it is not a Norton firewall issue (just checked with t/s). Network is working, since the laptop does see Main, but only as a Media Device.
