Windows Update issue error code (0x80080008). Will not run Windows Updater

I have tried running "sfc /scannow" NO JOY

I have tried "dism.exe /online /clear-image /restorehealth" NO JOY

I have tried "Windows Updater Troubleshooter" NO JOY. Ment to fix updater issues it does not.

I have have tried

"net stop wuauserv"

"net stop bits"

Deleted contents of "SoftwareDistribution" folder

"net start wuauserv"

"net start bits"

NO JOY

I have tried as above link

1. Press Windows key + R.
2. Under the search line, type services.msc and press Enter.
3. Look for Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS).
4. Make sure that it is Running.
5. If it isn’t, right-click and select Start.
6. Right-click again and choose Properties.
7. Choose the Recovery tab and make sure that First failure and Second failure are set to Restart service.
8. Confirm it the check for updates once again.

NO JOY

My current OS is version 1709 build 16299.30 This all started when carrying out Windows Update (KB4093112) and had error codes 0x80073712 and 0x80070422.

Can you help please going mad!!!!
