Hi
I have run into yet another unfortunate problem, however this time the issue is not of my knowledge.
The Windows Update application downloaded the update on its own twice and failed installing twice, both at 42% and resulting in a frozen installation indicator for hours.
In the past I have run into endless problems with my Laptop involving Windows 10, Acer Aspire V5-561G.
I have run all possible troubleshooting methods and thus have resulted to posting the question in hopes that someone out there has a possible solution.
In the meantime I have had to change my connection settings to metered in order to save money spent on bandwidth being wasted.
The error code given in the Windows Update application is "Last failed install attempt on 5/4/2018 - 0xc1900101" both installations resulted in the same error code
Any assistance in resolving the issue is greatly appreciated.
