I have my desktop with Windows 10 set to automatically turn off the screen display and also go into sleep mode after five minutes of inactivity (when plugged in). The screen display does turn off but the computer will not enter the sleep mode. I am current on all Windows 10 updates. I have also tried selecting other time options for entering the sleep mode, but to no avail. After reading some of the available information on the internet regarding this issue I see the graphics card may play some part. I am running the NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 960 2 GB DDR5 graphics card and do receive periodic driver updates from NVIDIA. I am looking for some suggestions on how to resolve this small problem.
