Hello,
I have Windows 10 installed on my PC and I want to update my BIOS to the latest version because of performance benefits to Ryzen CPUs. However, I am worried that Windows will deactivate because it will consider it as a hardware change.
1. Is it 100% certain that windows gets deactivated after BIOS updates even though I didn't change hardware nor PC.
2. Is there any easy way to prevent this or reactivate Windows without going through phone support?
3. If I link my Windows activation to a microsoft account, is it guaranteed that I will be able to reactivate Windows?
4. Why the windows support article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/20530/windows-10-reactivating-after-hardware-change doesn't cover my problem??
Thank you!!!
