Windows Update Causes "Plugged in, not charging"

After Microsoft commandeered my laptop for a Windows 10 Update on May 5, 2018, my battery indicator has since shown "plugged in, not charging". I'm now at 60% and going down. I tried many of the suggestions above, but nothing works. Does Microsoft have anybody that can answer this problem? Do they care? I note that this complaint has been being made for months! C'mon Microsoft. You caused it, now fix it!
