Just read old archived threads dated 2015 concerning the above problem.
Here I am three - THREE - years later in 2018 with the same problem. Still not solved it Microsoft/Garmin!??
Up to about three months ago, I had no problems downloading updates for my Garmin Nuvi50 GPS. Version 6.1.1.0
I need the Expressinstaller.msi for Windows 10. Window sends me to Garmin.
I KNOW it is online at Garmin, but I get this message every single time.
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Clik OK to try again or enter an alternative path to a folder containing the installing pkg. 'Express installer msi'
I have tried uninstalling Garmin and a re-install but then I get 'The older version cannot be removed'
I can see Expressinstaller.msi. on my "C" drive but it will NOT open.
Is it a Microsoft problem?? Is it a Garmin problem??
I am tired of getting bounced between the two sites. HELP please, THREE years after the thread was opened.
