Proper Boot up of Windows 10 Pro Prompts Hibernation, Why?

Running Windows 10 Pro Version 1709. 64-bit.

After a proper shut down, I boot my computer as normal, and sometimes it jumps into a "Hibernating..." screen with the loading icon spinning. Then it sits there. No keyboard inputs or patience change it's state.


I'm worried it is going to corrupt some of my startup files or something important.


What is it doing?
