Windows 10 Apps & features "we couldn't find anything to show here" when there are apps knowingly installed on the computer

Recently when I try to view and/or uninstall and app on my computer from the Apps & Features setting in the settings, it shows nothing to be found even though their are apps installed on my computer and they are still functional.
