Lock Screen Bug

Recently I had my hosted server that runs on VMware Esxi have a hiccup. I loginto the web client and when I go to Ctrl Alt Delete, it just goes right back to the same lock screen. It doesn’t display the password field or anything. I am stumped by this and don’t want to lose my data and have to reconfigure the server on a new VM. Any ideas?
