Hi guys,
I have several Windows Server 2012 R2 installed and use WSUS and Group Policy to get their updates automatically and it worked fine for a few months.
However I have noticed recently that the last monthly rollup I had for all of the Win2012R2 systems was 2017-12 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows Server 2012 R2 for x64-based Systems (KB4054519).
I searched online and found that the latest is actually 2018-03 (KB4088876) but I'm not getting it. I searched WSUS and found the 2018-03 one is downloaded by WSUS. It's just somehow not getting pushed to the machines.
Even if I run Windows Update from the servers manually, I don't get the monthly rollup either:
1. if I check against WSUS, I get "no updates are available".
2. if I check online for updates from Windows Update, I get some updates for .NET framework, Malicious Software Removal Tool and such unimportant stuff.
If I get a Computer Detailed Status Report by WSUS about the latest 2018-03 update, I get no computers needing it.
So my last resort is to manually get the monthly rollup standalone installation file downloaded from Microsoft®Update Catalog. It's initialising now. Not sure it'd be successful yet. But I sure don't want to manually install them on a bunch of servers every month in the future.
* Does anyone experience this as well? What's your solution?
