Hi.
I have Windows Server 2016 with the latest updates. The server has 64 GB of RAM, Intel Core i5-6500, Intel Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter and 480 GB Intel SSD for system. Internet connection is 100/100 Mbit/s and I really get 100/100 Mbit/s.
On the server I have SSTP VPN server with almost default config (described here How to configure SSTP VPN on Windows Server - Lukas Beran).
I connect to the VPN server from my laptop (Lenovo T470s with i5, 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD). I tried it many times from many locations but I never get more than 12-15 Mbit/s up and down even if my connection is 100+ Mbit/s. I use default gateway of the remote network because I want to send all trafic through the VPN server.
How can I get better speed over the VPN? I'd assume that the server can provide me full speed (100Mbit/s up/down) also via VPN.
