Is it possible to use Group Managed Service Accounts (GMSA) as COM+ Component identity in Windows Server 2016 and/or Windows Server 2012 R2?
I can create a scheduled task with a GMSA, e.g. like described in Windows Server 2012: Group Managed Service Accounts, but when trying to the the Identity on a COM+ component to <dom>\<gmsa>$ and a blank password the following error message appears:
"The user account or password entered is isvalid. If you entered a domain account, make sure name is prefixedwith the domain name."
If not via console, can it be set via script?
