A few days ago, the power chord from my laptop was removed, and the PC shut down. Now, when i try to boot up, it takes a very long time. The first time i tried booting up, it seemed to work fine. However, after logging in, most of my apps refused to open or took forever to open.
I tried restarting and it told me it's "scanning and reparing drive." I waited for it to finish, and now when I log in, windows is almost completely unresponsive. Clicking the start button does nothing. Crt+alt+del works, but when i select "task manager," it never opens.
I tried restarting the PC in safe mode. Same problem. This time windows gives me an "unresponsive" error message when i try clicking the start button, and keeps doing it every time i click "end task."
Eventually I got frustrated and decided to reset my PC. After reaching about 30% it said "undoing changes" and told me there was an error. Powered on, same problem as before.
What can I do? Every solution i find requires me to open the task manager or command prompt, none of which i can do.
