Display Brightness

Hello, I recently installed the April 2018 update. Ever since, i have not been able to adjust the screen brightness. I have tried everything online and havent found the solution. I even tried Microsoft's own solution for a previous update; somebody else was facing the same problem. I hasnt worked. Its really an inconveneince. Please help
