MS Word 2010
This box uses Mail as the default app for email and MAILTO. The .mapimail extension has no association. When clicking "Send by email" in MS Word or "Send to Mail Recipient" using the context menu, the files are sent via AOL Desktop 9.7. There is absolutely no way to change this whatsoever using any method I've tried. From what I've been able to glean I cannot set .mapimail to Mail because it is an MUI and not a traditional executable file. Also, MAPIMAIL is not listed under Protocols, but as a file extension. MS Support has so far done nothing except try the usual change defaults/reboot method that has yielded no improvement.
Any help appreciated.
