Windows update messed something and I do not know my old admin password.

A recent Windows update messed something up in my computer because it's Hardware and such is slightly less generic than a typical computer. Now I can access system bio and the blue screen of repair but I cannot do anything with it because I don't know the old admin password which is different from the pin which I used to login to the computer.


Now my only option is to guess passwords and do a clean install (after transferring data from my hard drive). I am screwed aren't I?
