NIC teaming

We have a nic team primary/standby. We notice upon reboots the standby will become the primary and therefore the mac associated with the team changes which is a problem as we'd like to have a DHCP reservation set so the ip always remains the same. Any way to prevent this and have 1 mac assigned to the Team?
