Windows 2016 Scale-out File Server (SOFS)

Hi,

I am looking at Windows 2016 SOFS to store user data and profile. My backend storage is using VMware vSAN.

Are they supported? Any KB to support my plan? Heard that SOFS is mainly for SQL and Hyper-V VMs. Is it true?

In addition, I also planning to have stretched cluster with storage replica.

Please advice. Thanks.
