Hello,
I have an issue where once a week at a random time the _VLMCS DNS record is being updated to point to one of our computers instead of our KMS server.
Our KMS server is 'KMS01' but here in the screenshot you can see it's been changed to 'computer765'. I can't see anything in the event logs of the computer to show that it's tried to activate or anything that shows it's updated DNS.
This has only happened since I changed our 2008 KMS server for a 2016 KMS server. I created this DNS record manually rather than allowing the KMS server to publish but I didn't think that would make a difference. The permissions on the DNS record look correct.
Does anyone know why this might happen?
