When I tried to download Dell's Power Media Player Windows 10 continually tried to download and install the program from OneDrive--even though the program isn't on there and I had not selected OneDrive as the source. Windows would NOT allow me to change the settings or the source. I had to shut down OneDrive completely--and still could not download the program from the 'net. From my search here in the Microsoft forum I'm not the only one who has had this experience--albeit with different programs, not just the one I was trying to download. And...why the heck is your OneDrive forum LOCKED?????

Frankly, I'm not very happy with Windows 10 overall. You've eliminated far too many of the personalized options and choices users have had and want. You've made it too much like a Mac. If I wanted to be treated like a kindergartner I'd BUY a Mac not Windows. For one thing--and yes this is off topic but a prime example, we should not have to set our internet as a metered connection in order to turn off automatic updates. Forcing updates is causing your customers a huge number of problems and the solution is insulting. Not being able to change the download source for the program I needed is just as stupid--forcing people to use your PAID cloud service for back ups is despicable-- We should be able to keep a local backup copy on the same computer hard drive like it used to be--and keep a copy elsewhere where ever we CHOOSE... Those are just a few of the examples that customers dislike based on my searches for solutions (which don't exist). Even when choices do exist you've hidden the settings so that consumers have to conduct an online search just to find out where and how to change our settings---they should be intuitive not hidden away.
