Hi all, I have a Windows Server 2012 R2 device that frequently will see several 7011 errors in the system log. Eventually what happens is users logged into the server will get disconnected, no new users can log in, and the server can not be shutdown and has to have the power button pushed in for 5 seconds. When the server comes back up, everything works fine again. It usually last about a week before the happens again. Here is a sample of one of the events, the first event that appeared during our most recent server failure.
"A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the iphlpsvc service."
Here is a list of all the services that reported this same error during the most recent crash.
iphlpsvc
ShellHWDetection
NlaSvc
Appinfo
Schedule
BITS
Remote Desktop Configuration
CryptSvc
UmRdpService
DeviceAssociationService
Dnscache
hidserv
NcbService
LanmanWorkstation
ScDeviceEnum
Network Location Awareness
Network Connection Broker
I ran sfc /SCANNOW and it reported that everything is working. Any other troubleshooting tools or steps I should take? I'm not really sure where to look at this point. I can't seem to determine the root cause of all these issues.
