- Windows Server 2012 R2
- Server is DC and File Server
- My logon is a member of Domain Admins
- Domain Admins is a member of the local Administrators
- On the Server E: drive, folder titled Shares with Domain Admins as Owner
- Under Shares folder, folder for Accounting that is shared as Accounting
- When logged on to my PC, I can browse to the shares via the UNC Path (i.e. - \\Server\Accounting)
- When logged on to the server as me, browse to E: drive and get Access Denied when trying to open the Shares folder
I logged onto the server as Domain\Administrator and I can navigate without error. I Rt click the Shares folder | Security | Advanced | Effective Permissions and my user logon shows Full rights to the folder.
