I need to re-build a server for a small business. The server only had one HDD and it is a total brick. I just bought and installed two hard drives (RAID 1), and installed Windows Server 2012 Essentials. This is the ONLY server they have, and I know they were never on a domain. The server and computers were all configured as "WORKGROUP". The server was just a basic file server to store files. Again, the key point here is NO Domain configured on the server.
So my question is this. How do I setup/configure the Server to be a member of "Workgroup" and not Domain = "Workgroup.local"
I'm building the system tonight in hopes to get it back in production tomorrow morning.
