Bamboo Ink Pen

Hello. I just bought a HP Pavillion x 360 laptop and I bought a bamboo ink pen along with it. I followed the instructions to set up the pen and it seemed liked it would work. I connected it to the computer through Bluetooth and it was working. I then went to test it out on the screen and it did not work. I tried a couple things, like disconnecting it from Bluetooth, taking out the batter, changing the tip of the pen, etc. and none of those seemed to work. I don't know how to fix my problem. Would I need to return the pen and get a new one? Thank you.
