I've noticed that over the last 7-10 days subsequent to a cumulative update to Windows 10 v.1703 that user file opening is now taking an inordinately long time.
I've now been upgraded to v.1803 and the same symptoms are occurring. This applies to Word, Text, images, pdf etc. . . . . .; with file opening times around 30 seconds and more.
I'd be glad to hear from anyone with solutions to this very unproductive problem.
