ever since i've had this computer i don't recall ever doing a backing on this computer, and i have a lot of games & pics that i don't want to lose , so i went to >BACK UP OR RESTORE YOUR FILES< under " BACKUP- its said < WINDOWS BACKUP HAS NOT BEEN SET UP> there was a box on right side of page that said < SET UP BACKUP > so i clicked it & message came up saying <PLEASE WAIT WHILE WINDOWS BACKUP STARTS<, after a few seconds a page comes up saying < SELECT WHERE YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR BACK UP>the options to save backup on are > DATA { D } or DVD RW DRIVE { E } ,

** if/when i selected DATA { D { FREE SPACE 257.97 GB} - { TOTAL SIZE 258.15 GB } a message came on screen saying< THE DRIVE IS ON THE SAME PHYSICAL DISK AS YOUR SYSTEM DRIVE THAT YOUR COMPUTER BOOTS FROM OR THAT WINDOWS IS INSTALLED ON.IF THE DISK FAILS,YOU WILL LOSE ALL OF YOUR BACKUPS<

** if/when i selected DVD RW DRIVE { E } a yellow triangle symbol with exclamation mark came on screen saying these 2 things

#1< A SYSTEM IMAGE CANNOT BE SAVED ON THIS LOCATION,SCHEDULE BACKUP OF SYSTEM IMAGE IS NOT ALLOWED ON REMOVABLE DEVICES,YOU CAN TRY TO SAVE A SINGLE SYSTEM IMAGE ON THIS DEVICE BY CLICKING "CREATE A SYSTEM IMAGE" IN THE WINDOWS 7 FILE RECOVERY CONTROL PANEL<

# 2< OTHER PEOPLE MIGHT BE ABLE TO ACCESS YOUR BACKUP ON THIS LOCATION TYPE , THE CURRENT DEVICE DOES NOT SUPPORT SETTING SECURITY PERMISSION ON FILES . AS A RESULT, YOUR BACKED UP FILES CAN BE ACCESSED BY ANYONE WHO HAS PHYSICAL ACCESS TO THE DEVICE

??? i clicked the CANCEL BUTTON , because i was unsure of what to do -- i hope that someone can please help me solve this problem that i am having-
