Today, I discovered that the Update Assistant went in and upgraded my Windows 10. First, I did not knowingly allow this, it was forced upon me!
Well, when I rebooted, I was greeted with what looks like a NEW install of Windows, not my current settings. Even worse, it looks like I will have to re-install all of my software?
NO, NO, NO, unacceptable, there must be a way to upgrade and retain my installed software and settings.
Fortunatly I have learned some time ago with MS that I should image the disk on a regular basis, so I can recover. But if I am forced to re-installing after something FORCES itself upon me, I need to told how to disable this UNWANTED feature in the future.
