I have been having problems with the known C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt file. The problem that I am having is that it doesn't matter what I do, I cannot get rid of the error more than 24 hours, let me explain:
Ultimately I formatted the drives and reinstalled Windows on C:. Start from scratch. It seems to work somewhat right, but then, it'll take it 24 hours to download all the updates and that'll bring me back to Srttrail.txt error. So for the last week, I have been reinstalling my OS every other day, to the point of downloading the Media Creation tool and repairing "from the inside" preemptively, but nope.
The first symptom I usually see is my screens losing DVI signal, sometimes it recovers, sometimes it just goes black, sometimes it reboots the computer, which may or may not boot correctly depending on the alignment of the stars. Don´t know if that gives any clue of what it could be. It'd be working perfectly and then suddenly "bye bye"

- I get the error
- I try fixing it using the whole bootrec.exe steps, but this message appears that is different to the rest of examples. "Total identified Windows installations: 0"
- I run a "chkdsk c:" and there are no bad sectors.
- I try deleting the file but it is not corrupt so, that doesn't solve it.
- I try using the Media Creation tool for repair, that didn't do it.
