Kind of stumped on this one. It's an HP laptop where the hard drive has gone bad. Put in an SSD and installed Windows 10. Everything was rocking along fine until I started installing apps. I think Windows 10 started searching for "optimal display driver" and then it just crashed. Tried restarting a couple of times then started in on the automatic repair loop. I'm wanting to see if anyone else has seen this - with an HP Notebook - 15-ba053nr to be exact.
I'm still troubleshooting so I was able to update to the April 27th, 2018 BIOS and am reinstalling Windows 10. I'm going to try and update all the drivers using the HP recommended drivers before Windows update touches it and see if that works. If anyone has more experience with this kind of error on a fresh install on a brand new SSD I'd appreciate it.
