Local Disk E files that I cannot see

I keep getting a warning telling me that my local disk E only has 46 megabytes available of 449 megabytes. When I open the drive, there is nothing in it. I have, show hidden files, turned on but nothing shows up. From what I can tell when I click the properties info, it is my recycle bin. Does that sound right to you? If so, How do I get rid of these files that I cannot find or see? Thanks.

I have 222 GB of storage in Local Disk C (SSD) and it shows that I have approx. 90 GB left on that disk but I dont have that much data on that disk.
