Well, I had a lenovo z5170 laptop, windows 10. I bought it 2 years back. In recent times, I had issue with the graphic drivers, I had reinstalled the windows from a flash drive, I had installed ll the drivers downloaded from lenovo site. But when I tried to install the AMD drivers, stop code occurred, THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER. I had done all the recommended solution , uninstalling the drivers using DDU, uninstalling them from device manager.
And also using the uinstaller from the amd site. But the problem re occur no matter how many times I reinstalled the drivers. I installed them through windows updater also. I had updated the system up to date till today. Also installed the latest amd drivers and also tried the given drivers in the lenovo site.( not combined, one after the other).
Is there any solution to install the drivers with out any problems? should i wait to Microsoft push an update out to fix this problem ?
