I am at my wits end here.
I am a little mad.
I am a little frustrated
I built a $1200 computer 3 days ago JUST to play Fortnite, and after 3 days of trouble shooting problems, I still haven't been able to play.
So the real question here is, what is the fastest/best way for me to just start **** playing already?
My problem is I'm not getting internet on Windows 10, but on Debian 9, it works fine.
here is a link to a question I posted 5 minutes ago regarding that:
Can't turn off Airplane mode in Windows 10 1803
some of my parts are:
msi Z370-A pro motherboard
GeForse GTX 1060 GPU
WD BLUE 1TB HD
Kingston 120gb SSD
Intel core i5 processor
Thermaltake Smart 700W PSU
Viper 16GB RAM
I got windows 10 by downloading the iso on to my MacBook Pro from this link: Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File)
I used BootCamp from my MacBook Pro to burn it on a usb and boot it onto my new PC.
So again, the internet connection with my ethernet cable works with Debian 9, but not Windows 10.
The way I see it, I have 4 options:
1. someone provides the magical steps to answer the question I have provided in the first link
2. download a slightly older version of windows 10 and hopefully it works
3. install a bootable OSX, and play Fortnite on that.
4. install wine (applet that let's you play Windows games on linux) and use it to play Fortnite
if anyone knows which of these routes I should take, please leave a reply
thanks
