I have a panasonic KX-TAW848 advanced hybrid phone system. the software is old and needs to use a com port to connect to the device to program it, i can select any com port however i need to program my computer to direct all communications for a com port to USB port 3 in order for this to work. I have the USB connector from my computer to the KX-TAW848 but I dont have a serial port on my computer (its a new 2018 asus laptop without any obsolete serial ports). Help in setting up this communication would be great!
