Change in Ownership

Today I purchased a lightly used laptop from someone on Facebook. Currently, the laptop has not had a factory reset, and I would rather not do that as I do not have the windows 10 to put back on the computer to restore it. Is there a way I can reset the computer without a factory reset, but tune it to my settings? IE, able to sign in with my account?
