I have direct evidence that proves for some reason on my PC running Windows 10 Pro 1803 that Windows Error Reporting Service was uploading a constant stream of about 1.2 to 1.5 Mb per second for extended periods of time mainly when i am not directly using the PC or when I'm doing light task. I have a data cap cause I have a terrible ISP (Mediacom Sadly) and it uploaded, when i was paying really close attention and monitoring my PC, 5 GB of data in 4 hours 30 min. Anyone else having this issue as well. I was super paranoid that a piece of malware or something was on my PC and even reinstalled my PC and caught this. The only thing I use between both installs is a VPN Service (IPVanish) and tbh i think this was going on when i had 1709 but can not confirm. And I dont think that the VPN Client i am using is doing this either. The main reason why i found this out was cause my VPN Client lets me get kinda detailed on usage statistics in the client and realized A LOT OF UPLOAD bandwidth was being used. If anyone knows why this is going on please let me know. And would like to know if others have noticed as well. Thinking about asking Mary Jo Foley or Paull Thurrott about this cause this seems like it is a Windows/Microsoft thing and not a piece of malicious software. I do IT Security so i do have some knowledge on how to make sure strange stuff doesn't get on my PC and screw around with it. Thanks for all those who help me figure this out.
