I keep getting messages about activating my Windows 10 Pro, but my product key doesn't seem to be working. I tried everything I could find on the forums and even other troubleshooting sites. I went to great lengths to find my product key seeing as I bought this computer from my boss and he didn't give me the key. Finally found this website: How to Find Your Lost Windows or Office Product Keys so I found it, but windows doesn't accept this. Can anyone help me? I also tried to run the troubleshooting direct from the activation in settings, but it doesn't open. I see the screen of the app starting and then it closes immediately after that.
