I have just spent another 8-9 hours reinstalling Windows after an update issue; this happens every month. How do i effectively turn off Windows 10 updates? I have tried turning off the update service, but it mysteriously turns back on. I have tried unplugging my network cable and disabling my Wi-fi connection when not in use but not only was that a hassle, it wasnt completely effective. Please spare me the lectures on the necessity of updates, i havr already lost more data than could ever result from not updating, and i am perfectly capable of installing the updates manually should i chose to do so after the bugs are worked out! I no longer want to feel like a Beta Tester for Microsoft!
