After the recent (April 2018) Windows 10 update, "Settings" no longer works. The Windows Settings page opens but all selections are inactive and am unable to type in the "Find a Setting" box.
All my programs seem to operate normally and windows utilities (Control Panel, Device Manager, Devices and Printers, Etc.) appear okay.
The April update took a while as advertised but appeared to install without problems and no error messages.
Tried the Windows Update Troubleshooter without success.
Control Panel, Programs and Features, View Installed Updates shows 89 updates done yesterday for MS Office Pro 2010 and one for MS Windows (KB41000403).
Telephone Tech help suggested a clean Win 10 reinstall but I hate to do that without trying to solve it.
