Can I upgrade hardware without reinstalling Server 2016 Standard OS?

Hi,

Is it possible to change/upgrade Motherboard and CPU without reinstalling Server 2016 Standard? It is currently running on an AMD platform and will remain the same (AMD to AMD) just a different, more powerful CPU. Do I just need to reactivate my Licence?
