Windows 10 update problem

Just purchased 8 MB 2 TB machine, got message of need to update W10. But when I try (repeatedly), eventually I get error code 0xc1900208, which apparently means my machine lacks the specs or memory for the update. This seems odd. How do I confirm this diagnosis or fix the updating problem?
