Hello, I have been using Windows 10 since its release. I got it from the free upgrade from Windows 7 I believe but it never activated despite many sources saying it would on its own. It not activating was never a huge problem, most functionality was available in the nonactivated form except for a few annoyances and a big watermark on the bottom right of my screen, because of that I never sought a solution.
Recently though, I have purchased a Windows 10 Home to get an activation key and have full access, not realizing that what was installed was Windows 10 Pro. This means that the key that came with my purchase does not work with this version. I don't want to return it and pay extra for Pro and would rather keep with Home, but I'm not sure if it's possible to switch from Pro to Home, and if so, how to do that. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.
